The HX5.EX-1.3.F1 platform scale is designed for precision weighing in environments classified as explosive atmospheres, compliant with ATEX directive requirements. It features a single load cell construction and is certified for use in Zones 1/21 and 2/22, where flammable gases, vapours, or dust may be present.
This model integrates the PUE HX5.EX-1 weighing terminal, which provides a 5" colour LCD display, a robust stainless steel IP66/IP68 housing, and intrinsically safe communication interfaces (2 × RS232 and 1 × RS485). The display allows for flexible configuration of widgets, colour bar graphs, and operating modes, contributing to a more intuitive workflow.
The weighing platform is built with a stainless steel weighing pan and mild steel construction, and is equipped with a high-precision strain gauge load cell. The entire structure is designed for durability, reliability, and compliance in hazardous industrial settings such as chemical plants, refineries, and paint shops.
The HX5.EX-1.3.F1 scale supports advanced weighing operations such as parts counting, dosing, percent weighing, and labelling. Data management and traceability are enhanced via ALIBI memory, and extended connectivity is available through the optional IM01.EX module, installed in the safe zone.
The system requires connection to a RADWAG-certified intrinsically safe power supply, either PM01.EX-1 (hazardous area) or PM01.EX-2 (safe area).
