The HX5.EX-1.4N.60.H1 is a stainless steel ramp scale designed for precision weighing in explosive atmospheres, fully compliant with the ATEX directive for Zones 1/21 and 2/22. This model integrates the PUE HX5.EX-1 weighing terminal with a low-profile 4-load-cell platform, making it suitable for use in environments requiring both durability and strict explosion safety.
The scale offers a maximum capacity of 60 kg with a readability of 20 g, ensuring reliable measurement of medium-weight items. Its platform is constructed entirely of AISI 304 stainless steel, providing resistance to chemicals, corrosion, and mechanical damage. The ramp design allows for easy loading and unloading, including the use of trolleys or carts, making it well-suited to pharmaceutical, chemical, and food processing industries operating in hazardous zones.
The attached PUE HX5.EX-1 terminal features a 5” colour LCD display, membrane keypad, and a robust housing with IP66/IP68 protection. It is equipped with 2 × RS232 and 1 × RS485 intrinsically safe interfaces, with optional extension through the IM01.EX communication module (used outside the hazardous area) to add Ethernet, USB, analog outputs (4–20 mA / 0–10 V), Profibus, and additional I/O.
Built-in ALIBI memory ensures traceability and regulatory compliance, while multifunctional software supports advanced weighing processes such as parts counting, dosing, and labelling.
