Main Console - Heated Paraffin Embedding Station

The TEC2900T-1 Main Console represents a pinnacle in embedding technology. It comes equipped with wrist pads to enhance comfort and stability, a newly-designed magnifier specialised for small biopsy embedding, and an intuitive LCD touchscreen for seamless control and monitoring of the device.

With its high capacity, the embedding workstation can readily meet the demands of even the largest laboratories. Designed with a symmetrical workspace, the console enables easy access to cassettes, molds, and other accessories, thereby facilitating a smoother workflow. Additionally, the instrument features an active carbon filter, allowing for safe operation outside of a fume hood while effectively eliminating odors and preventing air contamination.

Cryo Console - Cold Plate

The TEC2900-2 Cryo Console features a compressor-cooled work surface designed to rapidly chill paraffin blocks. This versatile unit can function either as a stand-alone device for re-cooling blocks prior to sectioning or as an integrated component of an embedding center, facilitating the cooling of molds after paraffin dispensing. It comes with a front-opening plexiglass lid, creating a cold area that can accommodate vertically stacked blocks and thereby triple its capacity. Additionally, the console is equipped with a control panel, allowing users to set and monitor temperatures as low as -20°C. In terms of capacity, the unit can hold approximately 90 blocks when arranged in a single layer.

Thermal Console - Hot Plate

The TEC2900-3 Thermal Console is designed for the heating and short-term storage of biological samples. Equipped with a large, removable tray, it accommodates a large capacity of cassettes and can hold up to 4.8 liters of paraffin. The tray can also be easily removed for convenient transport and cleaning.

The unit features a control panel, allowing users to set and monitor the desired temperature within a range that extends from ambient to 80°C. Designed for flexibility, the thermal console can operate independently of the embedding center and can be conveniently positioned on either the right or left side of the dispensing console. For added convenience, its metal cover can be fully or partially opened with ease.
