Automatic Petri Dish Filler, PetriSwiss PS200

The PetriSwiss PS200 is an automated Petri dish filling system made in Switzerland. It is designed to facilitate the efficient preparation of Petri dishes in laboratory settings.

The system is equipped with removable racks that allow for the continuous operation of the device, as it does not require a waiting time for the agar to solidify before the carousel can be unloaded or reloaded. It has the capacity to handle 180 plates simultaneously, offering the convenience of reloading at any time during the process.

An integrated peristaltic double-head 10-roller pump configuration ensures a low pulsation flow rate and gentle flow of media. This, combined with the large diameter of the filling tubes, allows for filling at lower temperatures, which can reduce the time required for agar solidification.

The device includes a piston-driven mechanism for processing plates, which can mix samples efficiently through a wave-like motion, ensuring uniform distribution of aliquots across the plates.

• A colour touchscreen interface for easy control and monitoring of the system, supplemented with quick-access buttons for starting, stopping, and pumping.

• Three separator options to fit Petri dishes ranging in size from 89.8 to 94.4 mm in diameter.
• The system is designed to be compatible with blood agar and can be fitted with an optional second pump for this purpose.
• It includes an RS232 port for connectivity and data transfer.
