ZAP™ SLIK Low Retention Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips provide complete protection from sample carry-over while minimizing fluid retention. They incorporate Labcon's patented pure 10-micron filter and Labcon's unique low-retention resin formulation. ZAP™ SLIK Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips from Labcon set a higher standard for your lab than ordinary filter pipette tips. Labcon's aerosol tips provide you with complete protection from sample carry-over by incorporating a patented filter that is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.

All Labcon's ZAP™ SLIK Tips in racks are packed in their trademarked teal or purple racks. These racks are made of polypropylene and are autoclavable repeatedly. They have sturdy latch hinges that won't come apart like lesser-quality tip racks and a special snap lock designed so that it will not catch on your gloves.

ZAP™ SLIK Aerosol Filter Pipette Tips have been proven in studies to block aerosol contamination. Unlike some leading brands of self-sealing aerosol-resistant pipet tips, they have no cellulose gum, toluene solvent, or coloured dyes in the filter to mix with and contaminate your sample. ZAP™ SLIK Tip filters have such a small pore that they even block fluids in the unlikely event that you over-pipette. And Labcon's SuperSlik^® polypropylene increases the hydrophobicity of tip surfaces, so they have up to 10 times less fluid retention.

Labcon carefully inspects the fitting with the actual pipettors, not just with measuring gauges. This means you won’t have to worry about leaking tips, and you don’t have to use extra force to mount these tips.

ZAP™ SLIK tips feature a pure 10µm pore size patented filter without any dyes or additives. The pores on this filter are 100% smaller than those in other aerosol tip brands. A smaller pore guarantees that your pipettor barrel will be kept clean of DNA, radionucleotides, and other contaminants. And this filter works to block fluids without any contaminants in the filter so you never have to worry that your work will be spoiled if your sample contacts the filter.
