What makes the Sigma 3-16KL refrigerated all-purpose centrifuge so attractive?
The Sigma 3-16KL scores with impressive features: it is pleasantly quiet in use, and the patented one-knob controller and illuminated function keys make operation intuitive. Automatic lid opening can optionally be configured for easy end-of-run indication.
The centrifuge has an extraordinary capacity, with a maximum of 4 x 400 ml. A broad selection of fixed-angle and swing-out rotors is available, along with an extensive range of accessories with buckets and adapters, including many biosafe configurations. The resulting compatibility with a large number of specimen tubes enables high versatility and allows use for a very wide variety of tasks, including high-throughput applications.
The Sigma 3-16KL has a high-performance, precisely adjustable refrigeration system with a temperature range of -10°C to +40°C. The Rapid Temp quick cooling function allows the centrifuge chamber and accessories to be pre-cooled to a defined temperature. This ensures optimal protection of specimens against heating.
