In South Africa a fire safety cabinet standard - SANS 54470-1 was published which outlines the minimum requirements for a fire safety storage cabinet. Fire safety storage cabinets supplied by Lasec meet this standard as well as offer up to 90 minutes of protection in the event of a fire. This is the highest level of protection available in the market.
