Q-Extract DNA Extraction Solution offers a fast, user-friendly, and scalable method to extract PCR-ready DNA from a wide range of sample types, including mammalian tissues, plant leaves, bird feathers, and fish fins. With a simple 8-minute protocol and non-toxic reagents, it streamlines the extraction process while delivering high-quality DNA suitable for endpoint and real-time PCR.

Sample Compatibility

Extracts DNA efficiently from:

Mammalian tissues: mouse tail, ear snips, liver, kidney, lung
Human saliva
Plant tissues: leaves
Fish fins and bird feathers (with extended incubation)

Storage & Stability

Stable at +4 °C for up to 3 months
For long-term storage, keep at –20 °C
DNA extracts are stable at -20 °C for one week or long term at -80 °C

Simple Two-Step Protocol

Add Q-Extract solution to the sample
Incubate in a heating block or thermocycler – done in two heat steps
