Active humidity control for environmental simulation and accelerated service life testing
The Memmert HCP series comprises four climate chambers designed for applications that require precise, simultaneous control of temperature and relative humidity. Active humidity regulation across the full range of 20–95 % rh, combined with all-round surface heating on six sides including a heated inner glass door, produces a stable interior environment with minimised condensation risk and high homogeneity of both temperature and humidity.
Available in four sizes from 56 to 241 litres, the HCP series is suited to environmental simulation, accelerated service life testing, and 85/85 tests in accordance with IEC 60068-2-67 and IEC 60068-2-78. An aluminium thermal conductive layer supports uniform temperature distribution and serves as a heat accumulator during temporary power interruptions. Double doors are standard across all models, with a wide-area heated inner glass door that limits contamination risk and temperature fluctuation during access while providing a clear view of the chamber load.
All models are operated via the Memmert ControlCOCKPIT with TwinDISPLAY and the AtmoCONTROL software, which supports programming and documentation of temperature and humidity profiles. The SetpointWAIT function ensures that process runtimes begin only once the set temperature is reached, and three-fold overtemperature protection is standard. A rear panel feed-through port is included on all models. Battery-buffered ControlCOCKPIT and MobileALERT remote alarm notification (e-mail and SMS) are available as options.
