The compact manual staining set is arranged in two rows, each containing six baskets, and is designed for performing histological and cytological staining procedures. Composed of a metal framework that is coated with a resistant finish, the set withstands both acids and solvents. The unit comes with 12 designated slots, each designed to securely hold a staining jar complete with a lid. Additionally, each slot is equipped with corresponding slide rack and features a basket door that incorporates vertical slide slots, offering 25 adjustable positions. Given the technical specifications of the product, no special storage conditions are required, nor is there a need to set a maximum period of validity.

Plastic Trays

Constructed from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and reinforced with glass fibers, these trays are specifically designed to withstand a wide range of solvents, particularly those employed in histology, such as xylene or substitutes containing D-limonene. With a temperature resistance ranging from 0°C to 170°C, they are also suitable for immunohistochemistry methods. The set includes 12 blue trays, each with a lid. Additionally, these containers are microwave- and autoclave-resistant and have a capacity of 300 ml.

Slide Racks

For a set of 25 slides, the rack features a plastic handle made of acid-resistant, solvent-resistant, and high-temperature-tolerant PET material. The handle is ergonomically designed to provide an improved grip and facilitate the secure closure of the trays even during use to prevent the evaporation of reagents.

General properties of PET

PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which is reinforced with glass fibers, belongs to the polyester family and serves as a thermoplastic resin. It is highly valued for its electrical and chemical resistance, as well as its ability to perform at high temperatures and rapid molding speed. The incorporation of glass fibers significantly enhances the material's strength, allowing it to withstand repeated autoclaving, even at temperatures as high as 170°C.
