Product Overview

Open containers pose fire and health risks. Collect liquid waste safely and in compliance with the latest safety standards. SCAT safety funnels can be securely closed, effectively preventing ignition hazards.

The robust safety funnel MARCO, made of high-performance plastic, offers reliable work protection and chemical resistance. Thanks to the hinged lid with an integrated seal, even harmful solvent residues cannot escape. The removable dirt sieve safely catches solids such as magnetic stirring bars. The MARCO Funnel with Lid, GL45, Type 2 is a chemically resistant funnel designed for use in environments where safety and containment are essential. Made from high-density polyethylene (PE-HD), the funnel features a hinged lid with an integrated seal to help prevent the release of solvent vapours, even when the funnel is not in use.

A removable internal sieve is included to catch solid particles such as magnetic stirring bars or debris. The funnel connects via a GL45 thread and is compatible with standard laboratory containers using the same specification.

Use Case

This funnel is suitable for closed-system waste collection, chemical transfer, or other laboratory and industrial applications where splash protection and vapour control are important. The design supports day-to-day handling of solvents and other liquids where solid contaminants may be present.
