Regulatory Note

In accordance with TRGS 727, Section 4.5.5, the use of non-conductive containers larger than 5 litres in Zone 1 is not permitted. This includes situations where aqueous-based, conductive solutions are used. The regulation applies regardless of the conductivity of the liquid, due to the risk of explosive atmospheres formed during the handling of flammable substances in areas classified as Zone 1.

Use Case
