Greiner Bio-One Cryo.s with external threads have a screw cap and additional cap inserts for labeling. They are manufactured from the highest-quality, ultra-pure medical-grade, USP Class VI-certified polypropylene, which guarantees high thermal resistance. The cryotubes are intended for the storage of tissue, cells, fungi, bacteria, spores, cellular extracts, or body fluids at ultra-low temperatures for research and development as well as diagnostic purposes. As a safety precaution, Cryo.s should be stored in a freezer or exclusively in the gas phase over liquid nitrogen. Tubes are not intended for any application in the context of reproductive medicine. The cryotubes are ideally suited for a broad range of temperatures for applications such as sample transportation, storage, thawing, processing, and centrifugation at -196°C to +37°C and can be stored in a freezer or in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen. Store a wide variety of samples, including blood, serum, sperm, cell and tissue cultures, microbiological samples, antibodies, RNA, DNA, and other protein samples, in these cryotubes.
