Product Overview
The CISA BA400N is an electromagnetic sieve shaker designed for granulometric analysis of large sample volumes. It accepts sieves from Ø 300, 305, 315, 350, 400, and 450 mm and is suited to both dry and wet sieving applications. The sieving range spans 40 µm to 125 mm.
Particle motion is three-dimensional, combining vertical displacement with sample rotation across the sieve surface. Rotation speed, direction (left or right), and timing are all digitally configurable. The control unit provides digital adjustment of amplitude, sieving time, speed, and rotation direction, with an LCD screen that displays all parameters during operation. Up to ten user-configurable programmes can be stored, supporting repeatable test conditions across batches.
Sieves are clamped using the CISA Cisa-press 2 quick-release system, reducing setup time. The shaker accommodates up to 8 sieves of 100 mm height (Ø 400/450 mm), or up to 10 sieves of 70/80 mm height (Ø 300/400 mm). The control box is independent of the shaker unit. Wet sieving capability is available by adding the optional Wet Kit accessory.
