The PURO™ III produces Type 3 (RO) water in high demand:
Introduction to PURO™ III
The PURO™ III water system produces high-quality water with low energy consumption through the use of innovative low-energy RO technology. By using a specially designed recirculation system, the RO membranes are guaranteed a long service life.
Key Features of the PURO™ III
The PURO™ III recovers a percentage of the water processed due to the innovative configuration of the RO membrane (see flowchart in the images). Feed water that does not meet the required standard is recycled back around the system rather than being sent to the drain. Not only does this reduce wastewater and increase efficiency, but it also results in low running costs. The integral boost pump simplifies installation and avoids unexpected costs or reduced flow rates due to poor inlet pressure. The PURO™ III is fed directly from your mains water supply.
Applications for Type 3 Water
The Reverse Osmosis Process and How It Works
Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a process used to separate and remove a large majority of water contaminants using a semi-permeable membrane. This is a very economical method, as it can remove up to 99% of organics, bacteria and particulates from feed water. During this process, feed water flows through a semi-permeable membrane under pressure. The water molecules will pass through, while contaminants are deposited on the membrane surface and flushed to drain as concentrate. This can be fed back into the feed water supply to be recycled, helping to save water waste.
