The MEDIAWEL 50 is an automated media preparator designed to produce various types of agars, broths, and dilution fluids quickly and with accuracy. It offers a capacity range of 5 to 50 litres, along with high-temperature accuracy, enhancing productivity, quality, repeatability, and traceability. This device allows users to speed up media preparation and provides flexibility in the types of media you can prepare.

Equipped with a large, patented stirring rod, MEDIAWEL 50 ensures consistent high viscosity across the entire batch, while the built-in pre-filter plays a crucial role in preventing contamination. This pre-filter also extends the lifespan of the main filter by preventing clogs, making it a cost-efficient addition.

Safety is a paramount feature of the MEDIAWEL 50. The safety lid automatically locks when temperatures reach 80°C. Additionally, various locking mechanisms, visible and audible alarms, and anti-shock housing significantly mitigate the risk of injury, especially when compared to manual media preparation methods. The efficiency of the unit is further reinforced by full traceability and the capability for easy data export via a USB interface, streamlining work processes and optimising workflow. Maintenance is made convenient with a drainage mechanism located beneath the device to simplify cleaning of the bowl.
