The PIPETMAN® L 4-Pipette Kit includes four pipettes covering a volume range from 0.2 µL to 1000 µL, meeting the majority of routine laboratory pipetting needs. Building on the legacy of the PIPETMAN® Classic, the PIPETMAN L features an ergonomically redesigned body for improved comfort, along with a state-of-the-art volume-locking mechanism to ensure precision and prevent accidental adjustments.
Optimised Comfort
PIPETMAN® L pipettes are the most ergonomic models in the Gilson portfolio, offering an ideal balance of weight and handle shape. The pipette’s natural fit allows users to relax their grip, reducing hand fatigue during extended use. To further minimise the risk of repetitive strain injuries, PIPETMAN L is equipped with an updated piston assembly featuring more responsive springs, significantly lowering pipetting forces. Additionally, the adjustable tip ejector accommodates both right- and left-handed users for enhanced comfort and flexibility.
Optimised Security and Precision
PIPETMAN® L features a true volume-locking mechanism that prevents accidental volume changes during pipetting cycles, ensuring consistent accuracy and precision. The patented locking system fully disengages the operating rod from the counter assembly during pipetting, effectively eliminating the risk of unintentional volume adjustments and volume drift.
For added safety and convenience, PIPETMAN L is fully autoclavable without the need for disassembly, helping to minimise the risk of cross-contamination while simplifying sterilisation procedures.
Optimised Traceability
PIPETMAN® L is equipped with a 2D identification barcode that provides essential traceability information, including the product part number, manufacturing date, and serial number. This information can be easily scanned using a universal barcode reader and exported to a spreadsheet or laboratory management software for efficient tracking and asset management.
Additionally, PIPETMAN L features a colour-coded push button that matches the corresponding Gilson PIPETMAN® Tip packaging, simplifying tip selection and reducing the risk of errors.
