Hydrometers

Hydrometers measure liquid density or specific gravity for process checks in wine and beer production. Models are available across defined ranges, including Baume scale versions for must and wort assessment. Glass constructions feature a weighted bulb and a graduated stem for direct reading when floated in a measuring cylinder. Each instrument specifies its calibration temperature and range; temperature correction tables or thermometers may be used where required.
