- 22 mm wide field: The BS-2048T biological microscope offers a wide field of view of 22 mm using a 10X eyepiece, improving observational efficiency. Professional high eye-point, wide-field plan eyepieces effectively correct edge distortion and chromatic aberration.
- Rotatable viewing tube: The viewing tube features a 360° rotatable gemel system, with adjustable interpupillary distance and eyepoint height, offering a more flexible and comfortable experience for operators of varying heights.
- Super-large ceramic rackless stage: The double-layer mechanical stage features a large, arc-shaped, non-angular design. Its surface is treated with a ceramic coating for high hardness and corrosion resistance. Damping-type double clips can hold two slides simultaneously for inspection and comparative analysis.
- Super endurance function: The microscope body is equipped with a Type-C interface, allowing it to operate via a portable battery. This enables use in outdoor environments or during power outages. It also includes a standard USB port for charging phones or tablets. The microscope can be charged using a portable battery, and in turn, it can charge mobile devices.
- ECO energy-saving working mode: The built-in ECO function automatically switches the system to standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity. Users can reactivate the light source by adjusting the dimming knob. The BS-2048T includes a front LCD display that shows the current illumination brightness, colour temperature, and magnification, allowing users to monitor the working status and enhance operational efficiency. The ECO function also prompts users before hibernation, which can be manually cancelled. The hibernation delay is adjustable from 5 to 60 minutes.
- User-friendly design increases comfort and safety: The BS-2048T is equipped with a secure handle for transport. A fully concealed locking mechanism eliminates sharp edges. The low-positioned coarse and fine coaxial focus system is ergonomically designed to maximise user comfort. A storage compartment at the rear of the body maintains cleanliness, saves space, and improves portability.
- Brightness memory function: The BS-2048T can be equipped with a coded nosepiece capable of remembering the illumination brightness settings for each objective. Users can freely adjust the brightness level for each objective, and the system stores the settings automatically, improving efficiency and reducing visual fatigue.
- Body power supply function: The built-in 12V 1A transformer directly powers fluorescent illumination. It is easy to connect and safe to use.
Applications
Various observation methods, such as bright-field, dark-field, and phase-contrast microscopy, meet the requirements of routine teaching and experimental work.
Bright-field observation
The professional plan achromatic objective, used in conjunction with the Köhler illumination system, allows the image to be optimised by adjusting the aperture diaphragm and field diaphragm. High-resolution, high-contrast microscopic images can be obtained at both low and high magnifications.
Phase-contrast observation
Suitable for examining highly transparent specimens such as cells, bacteria, and other fine, translucent structures in biological samples.
Dark-field observation
Insert the dark-field kit into the condenser socket and move the dark-field diaphragm into the optical path to enable basic dark-field microscopy. Without needing to replace the condenser with a dedicated dark-field model, dark-field observation can be performed using any objective from 4X to 40X. This technique is effective for observing protozoa, bacterial flagella, spirochetes, and similar structures.
Accessories
Trinocular tube
The trinocular tube can be fitted with a camera device, allowing the image observed through the binocular eyepieces to be output to a monitor or computer for image analysis, processing, storage, and transmission.
Photographic accessories
By using a specialised C-mount and photo cube, the microscope can be connected to a digital camera to quickly capture and acquire images.
