Laminar flow cabinets are commonly found in medical research laboratories, hospitals, manufacturing facilities, and other research and production settings. The Laminar Flow Cabinet is only used for sample protection. A Laminar Flow Cabinet is a workbench or similar enclosure that creates a particle-free working environment by passing air through a filtration system and exhausting it in a laminar or unidirectional air stream across a work surface. To prevent the infiltration of contaminated room air, the BioBase H1300 Horizontal Laminar Flow Cabinet is enclosed on all sides and kept under constant positive pressure.
